350

350 is part of a growing climate change movement. It gets its name from the scientifically recommended amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere needed to preserve the climate. Currently, there are about 400 parts-per-million of carbon dioxide in the air. And that number is going up by about two parts-per-million annually. Environmentalists warn that if we, as a global community, cannot turn this rate around and get to 350 parts-per-million or less, then our climate will experience irreversible changes. 350 has organized and led many marches and campaigns to spread awareness about climate change, to counter construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, and to get organizations to divest from fossil fuels.

As a movement, 350 has educated and mobilized many people. Through our support of 350 we hope to further spread mindfulness about our shared environment.
