Located on Mayflower Hill in Waterville, Maine, Colby College was founded in 1813 when Maine was still part of the state of Massachusetts. In 1871, Colby became the first all male college in New England to accept the enrollment of female students. Colby offers 54 major fields of study and 30 minors with 1,800 students from 60 countries enrolling annually.
